Perfect? No, never.

Simply stated: I am in love with what cannot be perfected. Timeless things. The hint of ocean water you can smell just before it rains. Sitting on a porch, melting into an oversized sweatshirt, during a thunderstorm, as torrential downpour envelops the streets and sidewalks. The disconnect from all matter. All flesh. All thought.

I'm aching here. My ribcage is too heavy for me to carry today, I heave stuttering breaths--spasming in and out. In and out. I'm staring at the clouded sky, threatening rain, gasping with my arms outstretched. It drizzles, it rains, it pours. I'm soaked.

Soaked. And I'm infatuated with this world surrounding me. "Breathe me in." Infatuated with this imperfect place, my imperfect situation, these imperfect four walls beside me.

GEBURSTAG?!

"Den ständiga resan", salvations, and days of birth=LOVE.
I'm determined to learn the lyrics of that song, despite the fact I speak GERMAN and not SWEDISH. The language is SOMEWHAT similar i suppose? Also, discovered the veiled half of the once soundtrack I was missing, thanks to Michaela=D.

Wow. Eighteen...

Sparrows-Justin King

Planes pass overhead against the rain
Sky counting black sparrows
Overdose, there's lead inside my clothes
As I work my tired miracles

One last hook, the peace is all they took
I'm fresh out of phantoms
Warm regrets gets the coldest winters yet
The song seeps in our marrow

I turn 18 in 9 days, tomorrow I'm meeting Kat Von D, thursday the gardner museum to chill with Siddhartha, HOW COULD THINGS GET ANY BETTER?

AIB AIB AIB AIB AIB AIB AIB AIB AIB AIB

Today. Absolutely perfect...
Went to Barnes & Noble to pick up a copy of Tess of the D'Urbervilles and Great Expectations (in a fuzzy-grey-leopard-print hat,) and grabbed a cup of Tazo tea for the first time in a few days. Later on, I opened up my neglected e-mail inbox and realized that yesterday, March 7th, I got into The Art Institute of Boston! Needless to say, AIB is my first choice school and I was ECSTATIC that I got accepted into their photography program! Honestly, I must've hit the snooze button too many times, because I'm not waking up from this INCREDIBLE dream that I seem to be stuck in... I even caught my analog laptop clock at exactly 11:11pm tonight, and didn't feel a trace of irritation--It's just numbers.

I can, once again, revel in the fact that I am back and here to stay. I feel happier than ever, rejuvenated and unbound =)

Coeur

[...and continues opening. Sarah Paddison]
I felt your presence, through the smoke of a Midsummer’s Night. Felt your ashen grey threads caress the air as ghosts emerged from a dying ember. And the tears crept into my glassy eyes, lips curling into a broad smile as my heart skipped a beat. These effervescent things fade quickly, yet I could feel your warmth linger for a protracted, blissful minute. Sixty seconds of perfection--my eyes caught sixty seconds of perfection, and held on to each and every silvery whirl of euphoria.
